After some hectic times here and phototrips to Seychelles, Provence and Switzerland, now we are fleeing the heat and setting sail to Iceland and the northern midnight summer.
We will spend there three weeks there with a couple of bags plenty of photo gear, a thermal bag full of velvia and a lot of expectations for a disturbing sleep treatment (or absence of sleep, better said). Our idea will be to shift turns, sleeping (or napping) during the day and becoming active during the “night”. Long crepuscular hours and surreal soft glows will match perfectly the surrealistic character of that place. Lets see what we can bring from there, surely a lot of memories, experiences and, maybe, some good images.
One of the reasons we will spend three weeks there is to patrol the area and prepare a photographic trip to Iceland we intend to offer in the medium term. Stay tuned, the new Rafael Rojas Photography Webpage which is in the pipeline will bring lots of surprises and interesting plans…;-)
Thanks for reading, great summer to you all and see you in three weeks!
