Solo photographic exhibition at the Château of Chillon, Switzerland

Dear all,

Recently arrived from the outer Hebrides, we are really glad to announce you our next (big) solo photographic exhibition which will take place at the Castle of Chillon, near Montreux, Switzerland, from the 24th of January to the 14th of April 2013. Under the title “The Magic of Water”, around 20 of our large format photographs will be exhibited, many of them never seen before.

An opening event will be held on the Wednesday 23rd of January, starting at 17:30 pm. I will be of course present and eager to meet you all.

For those who would like to attend, you will need to print out and present at the gates the Invitation card which can be downloaded here. It will grant free access to the Castle for 2 people to attend to the event.

Masterclass at Fnac-La Rive, Geneva, Switzerland

Hi there!

In the frame of my next exhibition “Lumières Naturelles” at at the Space Forum of Fnac – La Rive, Geneva, Switzerland, next week on the 7th of June, starting from 18:00 hours, I will be holding a Masterclass in the same place.

During 1 to 1.5 hours I will discuss about all those aspects we can find behind the curtains of our photographs: photographic vision, composition, use of natural light, the philosophy and life style of a nature-landscape photographer…

On the anecdote side of things, I was quite struck to see the poster with my name displayed besides that of the famous writer Paulo Coelho, who was also having an event at Fnac!!

Signing books at the Montier-en-Der Nature Photography Festival…see you there!

Hello all. This weekend is going to be busy. I will be opening the exhibition “La Magie de l’Eau” at Gallery Bolena, Dijon and then I will be signing the new book “Bouts de Planete – Visions of Earth” at the nature photography festival of Montier-en-Der. This festival, with 14 years under its belt, has become the most important nature photography festival in France. With thousands of visitors and some of the best international nature photographers, it is real must for those who display a certain interest in nature photography. If you happen to be around, look for us at the library stand, we would be really happy to deliver you a copy of our book specialy signed and dedicated for you! Of course, we can have a chat too…no need to buy anything at all…talking to fellow photographers is always a pure delight! See you there maybe and have a great light! ;-)

Rafael Rojas Photographic Exhibition at Gallery BOLENA -Dijon (France)

Everything is prepared for my new photographic exhibition in the Art Gallery “Espace Bolena”, in the city center of Dijon, France, which will be held from the 19th November 2010 till the 14th January 2011.

Under the title “The Magic of Water“, several of my large format limited edition prints will be exhibited.  I will be present during the opening of the exhibition, next 19th of November from 18:30 hours. Some copies of my new book will also be available, signed and dedicated to those interested…
